On March 10, 2018, National Aeronautics and Space Administration have published a photo of a pink greenhouse growing the vegetables in outer space on their website. It attracts the attentions of many countries.

The crew who works in space station has grown two batches of mixed greens. And now they are running two sets of vegetable facilities.

The growing method in outer space is different from earth, either germ, or vegetables. The mission in future for crews is planting and supplying vegetables for themselves. So it is really an important step for human.

As the pink greenhouse in outer space, in greenhouse, LED light is a common equipment.

Plant grow light is an artificial light source, designed to stimulate plant growth by emitting a light appropriate for photosynthesis. Plant grow lights either attempt to provide a light spectrum similar to that of the sun, or to provide a spectrum that is more tailored to the needs of the plants being cultivated.

The greenhouse in Space station this time is just a test. But in another way, greenhouse used in outer space is an important development direction in future. Because of the advantages in planting, greenhouse will be applied in more and more fields.
